Writer’s block rarely means you have nothing to say. More often, it comes from perfectionism, fear, burnout, overwhelm—or caring so much about the work that writing begins to feel impossible.
Trying harder doesn’t always help. Sometimes it only adds another layer of pressure.
This weekly workshop offers a gentler way forward. Part creative support group, part generative workshop, it gives you a consistent place to talk honestly about what’s getting in the way, reconnect with what excites you, and begin writing again.
Each week, I’ll lead a brief check-in, a creative exercise drawing from my background in art therapy, and focused writing time designed to lower the pressure and open up new possibilities. We’ll pay attention to what is already working, get curious about where you’re stuck, and find a manageable way back into the pages.
You won’t spend the entire session talking about the writing you wish you were doing.
You’ll write.
This workshop is for you if:
You keep meaning to write, but can’t seem to begin. You’ve stalled in the middle of a project. Perfectionism makes every sentence feel impossibly important. You’re returning to writing after burnout, rejection, or a long absence. You want community and structure without shame or hustle. You miss enjoying your own creative process.
You do not need polished pages, a perfect routine, or even a clear plan. You only need to show up.
Each week, you’ll have space to:
Check in with writers who understand what it’s like to feel stuck. Explore the fear, pressure, or uncertainty surrounding your work. Try a playful, low-pressure creative exercise. Generate new pages during the session. Leave with a clear, realistic next step. Build a more sustainable relationship with your writing.
